Gran Turismo HD was supposed to be the full version of the Gran Turismo HD Concept, announced at E3 2005 as 'Vision Gran Turismo'.
In November 2006, Polyphony Digital chose to abandon the planned full version named Gran Turismo HD, which was previously announced as Vision Gran Turismo at the E3 2005 and was first displayed during the Tokyo Game Show 2006 and was scheduled for a 2007 worldwide release to focus on developing Gran Turismo 5 instead.
