Originally founded as Blue Sky Productions by Paul Neurath and Ned Lerner, the company merged with Lerner Research in 1992 and became known for pioneering immersive simulation games, including System Shock, Thief and Ultima Underworld series, before closing its doors due to financial difficulties.
